Eggs Benedict is the perfect breakfast or brunch dish to make for anyone you love. So show your mom how much you care and enjoy serving her this delicious egg dish!
What You’ll Need:
1. Poach the egg.
To make eggs benedict, you have to know how to poach an egg. First, boil a pot of water. As it comes to a boil, begin to stir the water in a circular motion. Once the water starts to move in a tornado-like fashion, crack open your egg and place it in the pot. Let it cook for two to three minutes. This will give you a delicious poached egg.
2. Make the Hollandaise sauce.
To make the hollandaise, take two sticks of butter and melt them in a saucepan. Then, take the melted butter and whisk it along with three egg yolks, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. The sauce should have a thickness to it.
3. Time to toast.
Take your Canadian bacon and English muffins and toast them in the oven until they are both lightly brown.
4. Put it all together!
Place the warm Canadian bacon on top of the English muffin. Then, add the poached egg and top if off with the hollandaise.
