Free Range Organic Omega 3 Eggs are produced by chickens fed with the finest organic grown grains. Our grain consist of corn, soybean, alfalfa and organic flax seed. Flax seed contains high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and omega-3 fatty acid which have been shown to have positive health effects in humans.

Omega-3 acids lower blood platelet activity, reducing plaque formation in arteries which can otherwise lead to coronary disease. Some studies report that consuming only 800 mg of omega-3 fatty acids from eggs each week reduces platelet aggregation.

By including flax seed, we are able to continue feeding our chickens a vegetarian diet (no animal by-products). Our chickens also receive no antibotics, steroids or hormones. Chino Valley Ranchers’ organic eggs are produced in accordance of California Certified Organic Farmers.
