Chino Valley Ranchers has been producing quality eggs for more than 40 years. During this time we have constantly improved our ability to achieve the highest quality egg for you, our customer. We focus a great deal of attention on the care and feeding of our flocks. Our aim is to keep our chickens healthy, happy, and stress-free.

"Cage Free" eggs from Chino Valley Ranchers mean that our flocks are not kept in small cages as are most commercial hens in egg production. We maintain environmentally-controlled "community houses" where our chickens have the freedom to roam the floor of the houses. These houses have ample floor space and poles with roosting and nesting areas, like the hen houses "back home on the farm." This is done to reduce the stress that would be an inherent part of an overcrowded cage operation.

Our houses are environmentally controlled to eliminate contact with any infectious influence. Often, infected wild fowl migrate between other ranches to eat and drink from troughs of egg producing ranches. In order to minimize physical contact by our own ranch help, we use automatic feeders, waterers and egg gathering equipment.

This is done to reduce the risk of infection or disease to our flocks. In this way, we help to eliminate the need for antibiotics. Also, we never use hormones in our flocks.

Our ranch is nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of Southern California. The hens are housed in a valley, next to a free running stream, and the water for the ranch is drawn from our own wells...clean, natural water from deep in the earth.
